If you’re coming from the south via the Inland Island Highway #19:

  • On the Inland Island Highway, take the Courtenay/Comox/Cumberland exit (Exit 117 Northbound)
  • From the exit ramp, go LEFT to Cumberland
  • Follow the road into the Village, which becomes 4th Street
  • At the 4-way stop at Dunsmuir, turn LEFT
  • The Cumberland Village Park is between 6th and 8th on Dunsmuir
  • 6th Street is closed to all except resident parking. You will need to find alternate street parking. We STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO CARPOOL!

NOTE: Our legendary Village is getting a facelift – Friday & Monday there is roadwork on Cumberland Road – so you will be directed to detour via UNION ST.

From the south on the “Oceanside Route” Highway 19a, turn left on Royston Road, go straight ’til you see us! (You’ll cross over the highway and find us on the left at Cumberland Village Park.)

If you’re coming from the north, do exactly the same thing, except go RIGHT off the exit ramp!

Getting here: Ferry edition

Ferries on summer weekends fill up quick, as any islander will tell you. If you’re coming from the mainland, check the BC Ferries schedules and arrive early. Reservations STRONGLY encouraged! When in doubt, plan 2 ferries ahead!

We recommend walking on if you can organize a ride on the island side… it will save you a bunch of time and cash.

See you soon!
